Below you'll find answers to some of our most asked questions from fellow dog parents, coffee newbies, and tea lovers alike.     1. What is Mornin’ Java and what makes us different?

      We’re a woman + BIPOC-owned business crafting small-batch coffee and tea for dog & rescue-loving humans. Every product supports rescue pups on their journey to finding a forever home.

    2. How do you support dog rescues?

      We donate 10% of every purchase to trusted rescue organizations. Your cup helps fund medical care, food, and adoption efforts for pups in need.

    3. Do you only work with one rescue?

      We’re currently partnered with One Mutt at a Time Rescue Foundation (OMAT), but our goal is to expand our support to multiple rescues in the future.

    4. Are your products for dogs too?

      Nope! Our drinks are made for humans, but we include fun perks for pups during events as of now (Updated July 15, 2025).

    1. I’m new to this. Where should I start?

      Take our Pawfect Brew Quiz to find the brew that’s right for you. Or try our Mornin’ Java Roast—a smooth and balanced medium roast perfect for beginners. For tea, we recommend Yorkie Tea (a classic black tea) or Bully Kutta Tea (Masala Chai) if you love spice.

    2. What grind size should I choose?

      It depends on your brew method! We recommend you check out our Brew Guide before completing your purchase.

    3. Can I use your tea blends in recipes?

      Yes! We love using Bully Kutta Chai for lattes or baking, and Pug Tea (hibiscus) for mocktails or iced tea concentrate. See our IG/TikTok for full recipes.

    4. What do the tasting notes mean?

      They describe the natural flavors in your cup—like chocolate, caramel, or spice. No added flavoring, just the bean or blend profile.

    5. Do you offer sample sizes, travel sizes, gift sets or gift cards?

      Not yet—but we’re working on it! Follow us on IG or join our email list to be the first to know.

    6. Where do you source your coffee & tea?

      This varies based on the roast you're referring to. We’ve chosen to partner with a roaster who pays the coffee & tea farmers ethically and fairly. More information can be found on Temecula Roasters website.

    7. What roaster do you use for coffee & tea?

      We’ve partnered with Temecula Roasters in Temecula, CA.

    1. How fast do you ship?

      We roast and pack to order! Orders ship within 3–5 business days. You'll get tracking info once it's on the way.

    2. Where do you ship?

      We currently ship within the U.S. only. 

    3. Can I send Mornin’ Java as a gift?

      Absolutely! Just select "This is a gift" at checkout and we’ll include a sweet note for the recipient.

    4. Do you offer subscriptions?

      We're working on a flexible subscription program—launching soon! (Updated July 15, 2025).

    1. What is an Adopt N’ Sip Event and how can I attend?

      An Adopt N’ Sip is our favorite kind of day—where good brews meet good dogs. 💛

      We team up with local rescues to host events where you can meet adoptable pups, sip delicious Mornin’ Java coffee + tea, and hang out with fellow dog lovers in your community. No pressure to adopt—just come, sip, pet some pups, and see where the tail wags take you.

    2. Is there a fee to attend the Adopt N’ Sip?

      Nope! Admission is free—and full of smiles. We do encourage donations to the rescue if you feel called, and of course, sipping on our brews or grabbing a bag to go helps us continue supporting pups in need. 

    3. How can I best prepare for an Adopt N’ Sip Event?

      We’re so glad you asked! Here’s how to make the most of your visit:

      • 🐕 Bring your dog (if they’re friendly + leashed + apart of the decision making process for adopting a new sibling!)

      • 💬 Come with questions for the rescue (about behavior, training, routines, etc.)

      • 💸 Cash/Venmo for donations or purchases

      • 💛 Open heart & comfy shoes—you might be here a while! 

      • Bonus: Snap pics and tag us so we can see your best dog-meets-coffee moments. 📸

    4. Which dogs will be at the Adopt N’ Sip Events?

      It varies each time! All pups at the event will be available for adoption through our rescue partner (One Mutt at a Time Rescue Foundation).

      They range in size, age, and personality—but they all have one thing in common: they're looking for love.

      We’ll usually post a preview of the dogs on our socials before each event, so follow along IG @morninjava/TikTok @mornin.java or IG @onemuttatatimerescuefoundation to meet the crew early.

    1. Can dogs drink Mornin' Java products?

      Nope! Our blends are for humans only. But every purchase helps a rescue pup—and we include surprise treats for pups at events. Pup swag is in the works.

    2. What is a "Welcome to the Pack" gift?

      When a dog is adopted at one of our Adopt N Sip events, the new pet parent receives a gift: a full-size coffee/tea bag of their choice, a pup-safe ink pad, and a card from the dog to celebrate their Gotcha Day.

    3. How else can I help if I can’t adopt?

      Purchasing from us supports our rescue partners directly. You can also donate to rescues we work with or share our mission on social media to help us grow.
